Presentation Arc

The Presentation Arc is the next phase of development on the Halo software. It is planned for a deployment in July 2008. This release will largely concentrate on the presentation of the site.

Main Changes

Technical Changes

• A new site frontpage
• Site-wide navigation (links on the top bar to an archive of music reviews, film reviews, and column postings)
• Miscellaneous minor improvements to presentation of articles still under development
• New favicon
• Improving a few pages which are a bit ugly at the moment:
  • Add pagination to "Article Search" pages
  • Change the "keyword" drilldown pages on music reviews to something more like on the search page
  • Minor changes to the search page to make it more user-friendly
• Standardising "friendly" URLs through urlencoding.

Content Changes

• Finalise the identification and removal of duplicate content introduced through the data migration process from the fireball software.
• Write proper content for the FAQ and About Us pages.
